Most big guys find it hard to shop for clothing to begin with, it especially challenging for large hunters to find the right hunting clothes. Part of the difficulty are body parts. For instance legs always seem to be too short or to thin. The waist also offers a challenge, especially for larger hunters because camos never seem to fit properly and always seem to be like “high waters” around the ankles. First, I would like to clear up a few misunderstandings. Big and tall clothing in general is not just for the obese, sometimes this is true, but no always the case. In fact, “big and tall” clothing categories start at extra large (xl). It is true that 4x to 6x are also represented. Taller hunters will fit this category too starting at extra large tall (xlt). Those men that are taller there are clothes that go up to 4 extra large tall (4xlt).
When hunting there are really are three factors that big or tall hunters should consider about there clothes:

* Warmth
* Durability
Although most major & small cities have regular Big and Tall stores, there are very few hunting stores that carry specific “big and tall hunting clothes“.
